I view myself as a family orientated, driven and dedicated individual with a desire to succeed at a high level at whatever I find myself doing.

What do I do?

I am a seasoned digital professional with over 15 years experience in the IT industry. I, more recently, have 11 years experience in the digital telecommunications sector working for eir as a Senior Content Editor and Team Manager. Previous to this i held a number of Tech / Customer support roles.

I believe in personal development via education and continuous learnings and am a certified Full Stack developer via the Code Institutes 'Full Stack Development'course (Europe's Only University Credit-Rated Coding Bootcamp) with whom I spent the last year training with. I consider myself at a Junior level in regard to software / web development.

www.mollyrose.ie - Childhood Cancer

This is a personal developement and strives to drive awareness of Childhood Cancer whilst providing information on living through a childhood Cancer diagnosis and how you can help.
This fully responsive site is built utilizing React , reactstrap and react-helmet and is desgined, developed and content managed by myself. The site is can be accessed from https://www.mollyrose.ie . The code base is viewable on my github.

DevAssist - Full Stack Project using Python and Django

This is my final project from the Code Institutes 'Full Stack Software Development' course. This fully respnsive website intends to mimic a forum type environment where registered users can raise technical queries and respond to other users queries, with an ecommerce option to donate funds to the site creators. Python, Django, Bootstrap and Stripe technologies are used to achieve this. The marks from this project contributed to the receipt of a diploma level award. Bookbites - Project in Python and Flask

This is my 3rd project from the Code Institutes 'Full Stack Software Development' course. This fully responsive site mimics a book review site where users can register and log in to add reviews and also like other users reviews with a 'bookbite'. It was built using Python, Flask and a MongoDB database. The marks from this project contributed to the receipt of a diploma level award. Simon - Project in Javascript and jQuery

This is my 2nd project from the Code Institutes 'Full stack Software Development' course. The fully responsive site mimics the original 80s game Simon, a memory based game that challenges a user to repeat a computer generated sequence It was built using Bootstrap 4 and JavaScript / jQuery. Tastethepain.ie - Wordpress Commision

I was commisioned to assist with the set up of a Wordpress site for a band called 'Taste the Pain' who do covers of the popular band 'Red Hot Chilli Peppers'. I consulted on site set up in wordpress to help the client stay within budget and used css to help shape the site theme to the customers taste and also to make the site more responsive. I ensured page set ups allowed the customer to easily update the site themselves going forwared and also linked the site to the domain owned by band.
